Chanalyzer’s Cisco CleanAir accessory unlocks the ability for you to remotely visualize both 2.4 and 5 GHz wireless environments simultaneously from your WSSI Modules or access points in Local, Monitor, or SE-Connect modes.

Network Administrators can now view 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz spectrum data directly from their Cisco CleanAir-enabled access points with Chanalyzer’s remote analysis capabilities. Chanalyzer lists and displays active interferers, and tracks Channel information including Interference Max Power and Air Quality Index. Connect via a CCF file from Cisco Prime, or directly with an IP address and NSI key. Works with access points in Local, Monitor, or SE-Connect modes.

When a problem arises in your network, fire up Chanalyzer to do a quick spot check of the RF environment. Simply load a CCF file from Cisco Prime, or connect using an IP address and NSI key. Your recent connections will be remembered for easier access later.

Identify interference

Chanalyzer displays a table with a list of interferers detected by your CleanAir AP. This list stays consistent with Chanalyzer’s Waterfall Navigation, meaning you can quickly jump back to any point in time to positively identify the source of your problems. The interfering devices list is filterable, and includes adjustable duty cycle thresholds to only display interferers that may significantly impact your wireless network.

Chanalyzer will also show you where interferers appear in the spectrum by drawing a spanning visual indicator in the main density view. The more opaque the fill, the more impact your users are likely to experience.

Document your results

Explain wireless issues to your end users, no matter how tech-savvy they are. With just a few clicks using Chanalyzer’s Report Builder Accessory (sold separately), you can add a snapshot of any image or table displayed in Chanalyzer. Add your own pictures, create your own descriptions, or just use the defaults. After you’re done, export to PDF and present it to your client or boss.
