PolyPhaser / Transtector RMA process:**PolyPhaser / Transtector handle all RMA’s direct. RMA Request is received:Customer call is received by the Sales representative. An RMA Request form is provided to Sales which is accessed via the TNT Website under the Sales Section. It is titled "Sales Request for RMA". The Sales representative fills this form out online and then forwards it, via e-mail, to the RMA Coordinator. When properly filled out this allows the proper information to be conveyed without error, and to insure the return is processed timely and in the correct manner. If a Sales representative can not be reached, the call can then be forwarded to RMAC. Either case, the following information is collected from the customer:
* To issue an immediate replacement RMA you need to verify Warranty is valid via a serial number, Transtector sales order number or invoice number, or if purchase from a distributor a purchase date. If one of these can not be provided then a 30000 RMA # can be issued and once the product is received warranty can be validated. Determine Warranty coverage:Internal Customer Information to gather: This information is easily found by referencing the original order or serial number
Assigning RMA Numbers**Once the enough information has been gathered, The RMA Coordinator then issues a new RMA number from the RMA system. Replacement OrdersReplacement orders can only be written by RMAC when it is the same product, under warranty and at a $0 cost.
