DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

Streakwave Wireless, Inc. a leading wireless broadband and networking equipment distributor with sales and distribution facilities in San Jose CA, Salt Lake City UT and Cincinnati OH, is seeking a highly focused and experienced individual for our Director of Marketing position.

The candidate for this position will be responsible for developing and managing the complete company wide marketing strategies with the ultimate goal of building the “Streakwave” brand of Distribution Company in the market. This role is strategic in nature and additional compensation will be based on target goals being realized.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Create, develop, implement overall marketing strategy for the company
• Collaborate with VP of Sales and Executive team to develop channel strategies
• Develop and Maintain comprehensive marketing budget
• Oversee, refine and expand partner programs
• Write, refine and issue Press Releases
• Generate sales leads through online marketing campaigns
• Manage day to day relationships with advertising partners
• Responsible for all Trade Show Management
• Manage road show, training programs
• Develop marketing strategies with existing vendors
• Manage Vendor Co-Op Funds / Programs
• Attend trainings to remain current on products, competition and industry standards
• Represent Streakwave Wireless, Inc. and our vendors products at tradeshows and other sales events. (Domestic Travel Required, International Travel Possible)
• Maintain a high level of energy, commitment to quality work and a professional demeanor at all times

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• BA in Marketing Required (MBA Strong Preferred)
• Minimum 5 years of Marketing Management experience in related field(s)
• Proven track record of Marketing Experience / company growth
• Excellent Communication Skills; written, oral and presentation
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate in team environment
• Critical thinker with ability to create visual goals
• Ability to multi-task handling multiple projects concurrently a must
• Adaptability - other duties may be realized and assigned

SALES POSITIONS

Streakwave Wireless, Inc. a leading wireless broadband and networking equipment distributor with sales and distribution facilities in San Jose CA, Salt Lake City UT and Cincinnati OH, has immediate openings for Inside Sales Representatives / Account Managers.

The ideal candidates for our Sales Representative / Account Management positions will have a minimum of 2 yrs experience selling networking related hardware or software equipment / solutions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - 90% of interaction with clients, prospects and partners will be over phone and email
• Ability to address objections, answer technical questions, comprehend customer’s needs and react quickly
• Experience calling on/into large enterprise accounts and communicate with senior IT personnel
• Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office suite required
• Ability to prospect, identify and close deals is a must
• Manage relationships with VARs in order to scale the business in the territory

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Proactively prospect existing customer base and develop new selling opportunities.
• Answer inbound product questions and close the opportunity
• Receive and input sales and purchase orders
• Follow-up on leads as assigned or individually developed
• Plan follow-up calls and maintain all reporting and administrative functions in an accurate and timely fashion
• Maintain a high level of energy, commitment to quality and a professional sales demeanor at all times
• Conduct lead prospecting and direct sales via telephone covering a wide geographic and diverse customer set
• Follow-up on marketing and sales events and campaigns
• Provide prompt and professional responses to product and pricing requests
• Assist customer with system design /technical questions (training provided)
• Provide first tier technical support and trouble shooting (training provided)
• Attend trainings to remain current on products, competition and industry standards
• Represent Streakwave Wireless, Inc. and our vendors products at tradeshows and other sales events.

Education:

• Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) required

Compensation:

• Base, plus commissions
